Lauren A. Pagan
Ms. Pagan has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2015. Ms. Pagan joined Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe as a litigation associate in 2016. Since joining the firm, Ms. Pagan has focused her practice on the defense of individuals and entities in catastrophic injury and wrongful death actions. Most recently, Ms. Pagan was integral in securing a defense verdict for a high-profile client in the San Francisco Superior Court following a multi-week jury trial on a claim for traumatic brain injury with damages in excess of $10 million. Ms. Pagan also has significant experience in construction defect litigation, including the representation of developers and contractors in complex, multi-party actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pagan was a judicial intern for the Honorable Kay Tsenin in the San Francisco Superior Court, Criminal Division. Ms. Pagan completed two internships with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, which included conducting preliminary hearings as a Certified Law Clerk. Ms. Pagan also interned for a white-collar criminal defense firm in Beverly Hills, California.
Ms. Pagan’s academic accomplishments include earning honors in Loyola Law School’s Criminal Law Concentration and being selected to participate in the Hobbs District Attorney Clinic, where she received training in felony preliminary hearings and misdemeanor trials. Prior to law school, she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, at California State University, graduating with Highest Distinction in Criminal Justice.
Ms. Pagan is a member of the American Bar Association and the Alameda County Bar Association.
